Thinking Money Exhibit
Saturday, April 1 – Sunday, April 30
Library Hours
Money management is a lifetime voyage, so join our band of voyagers as we learn how money works, face danger, acquire important skills and navigate the ever-changing world of personal finance. Explore the exhibit through a scavenger hunt and earn a prize! L2B (Library to Business) presents this interactive exhibit and programs. (All Ages; 2nd Floor)

Exhibit
Money can be a challenging topic to discuss, and whether you have a little or a lot, it has to be managed. The journey through the exhibit touches on the topics of wants vs. needs, money mind tricks, earning and paying interest, saving for a rainy day, financial fraud, and planning for the future. The topics are presented for tweens, teens and adults.

Scavenger Hunt
To navigate your way through the exhibit, we’ve developed a fun scavenger hunt! It takes just a few minutes to complete, and once done, you can head over to the Ask Here desk and pick up a prize. If you fancy yourself to be a financial wizard, there’s a longer, and more challenging, seek and find booklet to work through! You can get a prize for completing this one, also.

Programs
Several programs will take place at the library, all coordinated by Rachael Svoboda, LCLS’s Business Services Coordinator for L2B (Library to Business) and our Youth & Outreach Services staff. Pick up a Thinking Money bookmark or April calendar at the library, or take a look at our online calendar for all the details.

Displays
Our staff members have also created several displays of books and materials related to money (fiction and non-fiction) throughout the building. Check them out and take some home today!

LCLS is one of 50 libraries in the United States to be awarded this traveling exhibit after a competitive application process. Thinking Money is on exhibit through April 30.

Thinking Money was developed by the American Library Association Public Programs Office in collaboration with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, whose support made the exhibition possible.
