LIBRARY BRINGS “WOMEN OF MYSTERY” TO THE COMMUNITY

“Women of Mystery”, a new reading and discussion series, kicks off at the Laramie County Library in August.

The first session takes place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, in the library’s Windflower Room. The opening session features a film (instead of a book) examining the three authors featured in the series: Sue Grafton, Marcia Muller and Sara Paretsky.

Elaine Hayes leads the sessions, which explore the role of women as crime scene investigators — particularly those that relate to social issues.

Registration is required and can be done by calling (307) 634-3561 or by visiting the “Ask Here” desk on the library’s first floor. The library is located at 2200 Pioneer Ave. in Cheyenne.

Additional information about this and other programs for adults can be found at www.LCLSonline.org

The program is offered by the Wyoming Humanities Council and its Reading Wyoming program, which provides reading and discussion series to nonprofit organizations around the state and is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
