Volunteer Opportunity: Docents needed!

TourWe are always looking for individuals who are eager to share their excitement about what LCLS has to offer with others by becoming a docent.

What are docents?
Docents are specially trained volunteers that lead tours of the library for visitors of all ages. Docents help engage visitors by discussing services, programs, features of the library, and more!

When would I volunteer?
The hours would be during regular library hours on random days. We try to give our volunteers as much notice as possible so they can check their schedules.

Who would I be giving tours to?
Various groups that visit the library such as homeschools, daycares, new-to-Cheyenne residents, military service men and women and/or their spouses, schools, etc.

Why?
This is a great way to give back to your community and hone your public speaking skills. There are many benefits that come with volunteering for us, read more about them here: http://lclsonline.org/volunteer/
