April is known for Earth Day and the sowing of spring seedlings, so join Laramie County Library in reading Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower. This dystopian tale takes us to the near future of 2024 where young Lauren Oya Olamina strikes out amidst a desolate landscape to establish a hopeful new religion she calls Earthseed. Come to the 3rd floor of the library to check out your copy of the book and join us for tea and scones on the last Tuesday of the month.
