Virtual Graphic Novel Club (RSVP Required)

Graphic Novel Club will meet twice during the month of January. We will review the first half of the graphic novel on January 5^th and the second half on January 19^th. Participants can pick up their graphic novel to check out on the 2^nd floor of the library, or via the library’s curbside pick-up service. Our graphic novel for the month is Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler adapted by Damian Duffy and John Jennings. RSVP for this event above to receive the Zoom link via email!

Graphic Novel Description:
In the year 2024, the country is marred by unattended environmental and economic crises that lead to social chaos. Lauren Olamina, a preacher’s daughter living in Los Angeles, is protected from danger by the walls of her gated community. However, in a night of fire and death, what begins as a fight for survival soon leads to something much more: a startling vision of human destiny . . . and the birth of a new faith.
