Now Hiring: Foundation Director
Laramie County Library System is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven leader to serve as our next Foundation Director—a role that will help grow community support, expand opportunities, and strengthen the library’s impact across Laramie County.
The Foundation Director leads all aspects of the Laramie County Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that advances the mission and vision of the library system through fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement.
This position is an opportunity to work alongside an innovative library team, a dedicated Foundation Board of Directors, and a community that believes deeply in the power of libraries to connect people to ideas, information, and each other.
About the Role
The Foundation Director provides strategic and operational leadership for:
- Comprehensive fundraising and development programs
- Donor cultivation and stewardship
- Grant writing and reporting
- Special events and community partnerships
- Foundation administration and board relations
Working closely with the Executive Director and Foundation Board, the Director helps secure philanthropic support that strengthens library programs, services, and spaces for years to come.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Has experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit leadership, or donor engagement
- Builds strong relationships and community partnerships
- Enjoys strategic planning and collaborative work
- Loves libraries and believes in their role as trusted public spaces
A bachelor’s degree and professional experience in fundraising, nonprofit administration, grants, or related work are required.
