Library Card Art Contest
Your Art. Your Library. Your Card.
Each year, our community has the opportunity to help shape one of the most recognizable parts of the library—its library card.
The Library Card Art Contest is returning for its second year, once again inviting community members of all ages to create original artwork that could become an official Laramie County Library System library card.
Community voting for our Library Card Art Contest is open July 1–15, and everyone is invited to help choose the artwork that will become the next official Laramie County Library System library cards.
Take a few minutes to browse the entries and cast your vote. You may vote for one design in each age category:
- Ages 6 and under
- Ages 7–10
- Ages 11–14
- Ages 15 and older

Current Library Card Designs
The 2025 winning library card designs are available now at all LCLS locations. These exclusive designs will retire when the new winning designs launch on September 1, 2026. If you would like one of the current designs, stop by and pick one up while they are still available.
About the Contest
During the inaugural 2025 contest, artists submitted original designs in four age categories. One winner was selected in each group, and the winning designs now appear on LCLS library cards.
These cards are available at all LCLS locations—Cheyenne, Burns, Pine Bluffs, and the Mobile Library—and can be chosen anytime when signing up for a new card or replacing an existing one.
