Want to share your artistic flair? Then submit your work to the LCLS Library Card Art Contest by June 23!
Your library is having its first library card art contest, and we want to show off your talent and imagination. Participants will have their artwork displayed for everyone to see and four submissions will be selected to be featured as library card designs. Read the contest guidelines below and download a copy of the entry form so you can submit your design before the contest deadline of Monday, June 23 at 8pm.
Library Card Contest Guidelines
- Participants enter their design based on their age group. One winner from each age group will be selected in July and their design will be featured on a library card available starting September 2025
- Age group 1: 0-6 years old
- Age group 2: 7-10 years old
- Age group 3: 11-14 years old
- Age group 4: 15 years and older
- Only one submission per person will be accepted
- All entries must be dropped off at an LCLS location

- All entries must be submitted with an official LCLS Library Card Art Design Contest entry form. Entry forms for participants in age groups 1-3 must be signed by a legal guardian.

- Fine art (oils, acrylics, watercolors, drawings, prints)
- Digital media
- Photography
- Finalist designs will be made available for viewing and public voting online. Check back here after June 30 to vote for your favorites
- Winners will be announced in July and winning designs will be available as library cards in September
