Laramie County Library Foundation

Strengthening the library. Empowering the community.

A strong public library system is the foundation upon which a community builds its future. The Laramie County Library Foundation calls upon private support to enhance the leadership and innovation of the Laramie County Library System, helping the library respond to emerging community needs and trends.

The Foundation’s vision is that every person enjoys a lifelong relationship with learning and libraries. This vision is carried out through fundraising, advocacy, and innovative programs that expand opportunities for discovery, creativity, and connection.

The Foundation is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises, administers, and distributes private funds, grants, bequests, and gifts to benefit the Laramie County Library System. Foundation support enhances services in Cheyenne, Burns, and Pine Bluffs beyond what is possible through public tax funding alone.
