Support

Your generosity strengthens learning, access, and connections in our community.

The Laramie County Library Foundation is deeply grateful for the generous and consistent support received from hundreds of donors each year. Private giving plays a vital role in advancing library programs, services, and collections for patrons of all ages.

If you are interested in supporting the library through a gift to the Foundation, we welcome the opportunity to connect with you. We are always happy to discuss how your interests can align with the needs of the library.

individual, Corporate, and foundation Giving

Individuals, corporations, local businesses, and foundations make a meaningful impact on library facilities and programs. Community gifts helped build the new Laramie County Library and continue to support free public programs and expanded services.

Memorials and Honors

Donations made in memory or in honor of a loved one are a meaningful way to celebrate life and legacy. With a tax-deductible contribution (minimum $25), the library will purchase a book or entertainment item. Donors may suggest an area of interest for selection.

Acknowledgments are sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased, and a printed plate bearing the donor’s name and the honoree’s name is placed in the item.

Book donations

The Book Sale Room accepts donations of books, DVDs, and other materials throughout the year. Proceeds from the Book Sale Room directly benefit library programs.

We are available to assist donors with integrating charitable gifts into long-term planning. Legal and tax counsel should be consulted when considering any planned gift.

endowment

The Laramie County Library Foundation Endowment is a permanent investment fund established to benefit the library year after year. The principal is preserved, and only the annual income is used to support library programs and services. As the endowment grows, so does the Foundation’s ability to serve future generations.
