Help Us Name the New LCLS Mobile Library
A new chapter for Laramie County Library System is about to begin—and we want the community to help us write it.
This April, LCLS will launch a new Mobile Library that will bring books, programs, technology, and friendly library service to neighborhoods, schools, and community events across Laramie County. Now, we need your help to give it a name.
From Wednesday, March 4 through Friday, March 20, we are inviting residents of all ages to submit ideas for the new Mobile Library’s name. Whether your idea is inspired by Wyoming’s wide-open skies, a love of reading, or the spirit of community connection, we would love to hear it.
The Mobile Library plays an important role in expanding access to library services across our county—reaching people where they live, learn, and gather. It supports our mission to ignite curiosity, fuel imagination, and connect community by making library resources more accessible to everyone.
Naming the Mobile Library is a chance for the community to be part of this moment. Your idea could travel thousands of miles across Laramie County, visiting schools, neighborhoods, and community events for years to come.
How to Enter
Submit your idea online from March 4 to March 20.
Our Mobile Library drivers will choose a winner from all eligible submissions, and the winning name will be announced when the new Mobile Library hits the road in April.

- Friendly and welcoming
- Easy to remember
- Reflective of libraries, learning, or Laramie County

Contest Rules
- Entries must be submitted between March 4 and March 20 through the official online form.
- Limit one entry per person.
- Submissions must be appropriate for all ages.
- LCLS staff will review entries before final consideration.
- The winning name will be selected by LCLS Mobile Library drivers.
- Laramie County Library System reserves the right to modify or adapt the winning name if needed.
- By submitting an entry, participants grant LCLS permission to use the name in promotional and official materials.
- LCLS reserves the right to select no winner if submissions do not meet contest guidelines.
