Study Rooms
Need a quiet place to focus, meet, or collaborate?
Laramie County Library offers six study rooms for general use and two rooms reserved for teens, located on the second and third floors of the Cheyenne branch. These spaces are perfect for studying, virtual meetings, interviews, tutoring, and small group projects.
Using a Study Room
Study rooms are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are intended for groups of up to four people and cannot be reserved in advance.
To use a study room, stop by the Ask Here Desk on the second or third floor. Library staff will help you find an available space and get settled.
Each study room may be used for up to two hours. If no one is waiting, you’re welcome to continue using the room.
Locations and Features
Second Floor: Three general use study rooms and two Teen Zone rooms reserved exclusively for teens. Adults may use these rooms only when accompanied by a teen.
Third Floor: Three general-use study rooms available to all patrons.
The six general use study rooms include:
- Electrical outlets and an Ethernet port
- A table and four chairs
- A whiteboard (with markers and erasers available to borrow from the Ask Here Desk)
The teen study rooms each include a table and four chairs.
Noise and Courtesy
Study rooms are not soundproof. Please maintain a reasonable noise level and be respectful of nearby patrons.
