The Studio

Located in the Computer Classroom on the 3rd floor of Laramie County Library, The Studio is a professional video production station, podcasting equipment, photography light box, and the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for a variety of projects. This space is made possible by generous grants through the national Libraries Build Business initiative and the Wyoming Community Navigator Pilot Program.


Use The Studio to:
  • Perfect an entrepreneurial pitch
  • Add green screen graphics for a fun social media ad
  • Create a vlog or podcast
  • Practice and critique interview skills
  • Produce a self-tape for auditions
  • Record a public service announcement for nonprofits
  • Demonstrate products
  • Complete a class assignment
  • Conduct a lesson with a homeschool group

  • Video recording space with professional lighting and 10’ x 10’ Draper green screen
  • Ring lights (portable, with cell phone adapter)*
  • Photography background screen (black/white, reversible)
  • Tabletop photography light box (25″ x 30″ x 25″) *
  • Multiple tripods including GorillaPod with cellphone adapter
  • Podcasting station (Rodecaster Pro)
  • Specialized Computers with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Audacity, SketchUp, and other specialty software

Instructions for Use

In order to use The Studio, individuals must have a Laramie County Library System or WYLD System library card. Individuals must bring their library card and an appropriate 4G+ USB flash drive or have cloud based data storage.

Individuals 12 years of age and older may use The Studio. Individuals under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult and have a user agreement signed by the responsible adult.

Reserving The Studio

After signing the user agreement, individuals may reserve The Studio in person at the Computer Center help desk, at the first floor Ask Here desk, or by calling the library at 307-634-3561.

Using The Studio
