Laramie County Library System is excited to announce an opening for a Patron Services Manager, an innovative leadership role at the heart of how we serve our community every day.
At LCLS, we create welcoming spaces for discovery, learning, and connection. With nearly 385,000 visitors each year across our central library, two branches, and mobile library, our work has a wide and meaningful impact throughout Laramie County.
About the Role
The Patron Services Manager leads the Patron Services Division, guiding the systemwide patron experience across all locations. This role is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of patron services, ensuring consistency and excellence in frontline service—both in-person and virtually.
This is a leadership position focused on collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence. The Manager will work closely with staff across divisions to support organizational priorities, strengthen workflows, and enhance the overall patron experience.
As part of the LCLS Leadership Team, this position plays a key role in an exciting period of transformation as we evolve from a Circulation Services Division to a Patron Services Division—aligned with our new strategic direction and a renewed focus on service excellence.
What You’ll Do
The Patron Services Manager will:
• Lead and support the Patron Services Division across all library locations
• Shape and implement systemwide patron service strategies
• Supervise and support staff in delivering consistent, high-quality service
• Collaborate across departments to align goals and workflows
• Help guide organizational change as part of a broader strategic plan
• Ensure patron services reflect the library’s mission and community needs

Compensation & Details
This is a full-time, 38-hour per week position with a salary range of $67,594 – $92,943 annually (hiring range dependent on experience).
