Find Your Space at the Library: A New Way to Reserve Rooms Is Coming

Getting ready to use a meeting or study room at the library? A better, easier way to reserve your space is on the way.

On April 9, Laramie County Library System will launch a new online room reservation system designed to make booking a space faster, simpler, and more flexible, so you can spend less time figuring things out and more time getting to work.

Whether you like to plan ahead, or need a space in the moment, this new system is built to work the way you do.

As we make this transition, there will be a short period when reservations are temporarily unavailable. From 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7 through 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, meeting and study rooms cannot be reserved. This brief pause will allow us to bring the new system online and ensure a smooth experience from the start.

What’s New

We’re introducing a new system for reserving meeting and study rooms across all LCLS locations. While online reservations may feel familiar, this update makes the experience more streamlined and easier to use from start to finish.

With the new system, you’ll be able to:

  • Reserve meeting and study rooms online from any device
  • Book a space in advance or while you’re already at the library
  • Get instant confirmation of your reservation
  • Make a reservation using just an email address, no account required

It’s a faster, more intuitive way to find and reserve the space you need.

Why It Matters

Library spaces are in high demand for studying, working, meeting, collaborating, and more. This update gives you more control and makes it easier to access those spaces when you need them.

Instead of wondering what’s available, you can check, reserve, and get started in just a few steps.

What to Expect

Beginning April 9, all meeting and study room reservations will move to the new system.

Here are a few quick things to know:

  • Study rooms will be reservable online, with two-hour booking times
  • Meeting rooms can be reserved up to 90 days in advance
  • All reservations will require a quick check-in when you arrive
  • Reservation time includes any setup and cleanup

We’ll share more tips and details when the system goes live to help you get started.

Get Ready

There’s nothing you need to do just yet, but if you use library spaces, now’s a great time to get ready for a simpler, more flexible way to reserve them.

We’re excited to bring you a better way to find your space at the library.

Starting April 9, your space will be just a few clicks away.
