An Evening with Andrew Krivak: Join the Community Conversation

One Book, One Laramie County has invited our community to connect through a shared story. Now you are invited to come together to continue the conversation.

On Saturday, May 2, join Andrew Krivak, author of this year’s selection, for An Evening with Andrew Krivak, the culminating event of the program. The event will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the Cottonwood Room at the Cheyenne library and will include a reading from The Bear, an author talk with audience Q&A, and a book signing.

In addition to the evening program, Andrew Krivak will host a special writing workshop for teens and young adults titled The Nuts and Bolts of Writing Stories with Andrew Krivak on Saturday, May 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Sunflower Room at the Cheyenne library.

Designed for participants in grades 7–12 and young adults ages 18–25, the workshop will focus on building creative confidence and strengthening storytelling skills. Space is limited; registration is required to attend the workshop.

This is an opportunity to move beyond the page and into conversation, to hear directly from the author, share perspectives, and connect with others through a story that has resonated across the county.

Whether you have read The Bear or are simply interested in being a part of the experience, you are invited to attend. Come listen, ask questions, and join your community for an evening of conversation, reflection, and connection, and be a part of the shared experience that brings this year’s One Book, One Laramie County to a close.
