I write stories of philosophical literary fiction exploring truth, memory, and the quiet forces that shape a life.

I have been a Commercial Artist, a Medic, a Fire Fighter, a Flight Instructor, a Project Manager, and a Truck Driver. But the most important thing I have ever been is a seeker of truth.

There is only one truth: reality itself, shared by all, though we struggle to see it clearly. To understand reality, we must also grapple with philosophy, history and theology. There is no higher act than to “stand-under”. That curiosity, the search for meaning, is what inspired the Rainy’s Song stories and other works still in progress.

We know one another only through action. Even the truest love must be shown to be real. We have no right to judge, only to seek tolerance, in the same spirit of love that brought us into being.

Life is precious, so I try to live it creatively.

C. J. Robinson is a stout advocate of mental health and addiction recovery. He believes we should all be able to talk about our trauma and struggles without shame or stigma.

We all have the ability to overcome. There is a power that lies dormant within many of us that we can only tap into once we begin to believe, for that first fateful moment, that we are indeed capable.

We are unable to heal without first acknowledging our trauma. In doing this, we can learn to embrace our weaknesses with honesty and poise.

Debbie Freeman is a former elementary school teacher who takes great joy in making unknown history come alive through her historical and realistic fiction books for children, teachers and parents. She also loves to play with rhyme in her preschool/early elementary age books and uses illustrators from the mountain states for all her stories.

Jessica Kern, Ph.D., MS, CPT, CNC, is a Wyoming author, scientist, educator, and founder of Canary Consulting LLC. Her book, Lazy Lab, draws on more than 20 years of experience in laboratory science to explore the human side of science, workplace culture, environmental wellness, and the lessons learned along the way. Blending personal stories with science and humor, Jessica invites readers behind the laboratory doors to see what really happens beyond the experiments. Her work reflects her passion for making science approachable while creating healthier, more supportive environments for the people who work in them.

E.L. Summers is native to Baltimore, Maryland, and has been writing for the last twenty years. She is a blind author and writes poetry, paranormal romance, and urban fantasy. Her debut novel HUNTED: The Immortal’s Kiss is cowritten with Luna Nyx Frost is available on Amazon. With her writing, she hopes to inspire creativity and imagination in others. E. L. Summers has published a fantasy anthology titled Realm of Enchantments: A Mystic Anthology and a collection of poetry titled Ignited Melodies: A Book of Poetry.
She has had several poems featured in Maryland’s Best Emerging Poets 2019 by Z Publishing. Fae Thee Well: An Anthology as well as Rogues and Rebels: An Anthology, both published by Dreampunk Press, are two other publications she’s been a part of.

Glenn S. Robertson is a Wyoming-based writer and U.S. Navy veteran. His work is shaped by the American West, an interest in survival under pressure, and a belief that place leaves an imprint on the people who endure it.

Before turning to fiction, he worked as a public affairs professional and military journalist, with his writing published widely in newspapers and online.

He was recently honored with the Western Horizon Award from Wyoming Writers for 2026.

Seeker is his first novel.

James (Jim) Murphy was born in Rabat, Morocco, North Africa. He lived in Casablanca. James was four years old when, by ship, he finally arrived in the United States, in New York, New York, and traveled by train to Louisiana, where he lived for three years. He then moved to Puerto Rico. There, he found Jesus and was baptized at age seven in Barinkin Baptist church, Aguadia, a small village on the northwest side of the island. James became an American citizen in San Juan shortly afterwards.

James moved back to Louisiana, in 1960, then to Maine in 1961, where he saw snow for the first time and fell in love with it. He moved back to Louisiana again in late 1965, and remained there through 1969. Later that year, the family moved to Bunker Hill, Indiana. This is where God led James to his soul mate, Jean. He saw her one day at a pool, and finally met her eighteen months later. They became high school sweet hearts, and were married in 1974, and have been happily married since. They have three grown daughters, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

James served his chosen country, The United States of America, for over twenty-three years in the Air Force. He was a medic and specialized in Aerospace Medicine, and was one of the fortunate few in that career field that were on flying status, flying search and rescue missions. His favorite assignment was in Fairbanks, Alaska. He has an Associate’s Degree in Science from the Community College of the Air Force, and an undergraduate certificate in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University.

 
He and Jean moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 1996, and have resided there since. They live east of town in their home they call the Nickel J Ranch. James spends his spare time writing, helping neighbors, volunteering at his church.

Hi, I’m Kathy Bjornestad (also writing as Kate Glass), an award-winning author of speculative/historical fiction and poetry. I like to ask, “What if?” and craft stories that transport readers through time, space, and alternative realities. My poetry, written for all ages, captures the same sense of wonder and warmth that fuels my novels.

A retired teacher and librarian, I now find inspiration in the Black Hills of South Dakota. When I’m not wrangling complex plots (or my family), you can find me hiking in the forest, competing on the pickleball court, or showcasing my work at local craft fairs. I’m a master of managing everyone—and an expert at ignoring them the moment the creative juices start flowing.

Kenneth Strange Jr. was born in Brooklyn, New York. A former FBI Special Agent with the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), DOJ Special Agent in Charge, former PI and current author, Ken came out in 2024 with an award-winning true crime memoir, “”A Cop’s Son: One G-Man’s Fight Against Jihad, Global Fraud, and the Cartels.””

This true crime memoir has not only been hailed respectively as ‘gripping’ and ‘compelling’ by Ray Kelly, former two-time NYC Police Commissioner, and Bill Bratton, former NYC Police Commissioner and LA Police Chief, but described as “required reading” by a high ranking official of the CIA. Strange served with three distinct and distinguished federal agencies (FBI, USAID and the DOJ) over the course of a highly decorated 21-year career.

He has both an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona and a master’s in liberal studies from SUNY Stony Brook in New York. He speaks Spanish and basic Arabic.

Kenneth Strange has appeared on numerous cable TV channels and podcasts as a law enforcement Subject Matter Expert (SME). He has also been a contributing writer to The Hill, the Daily Caller and Washington Examiner. His first book, It’s Your Camino: One Couple’s 500-Mile Pilgrimage Across Spain is an IPPY-award winning travel story.

In his spare time, Ken enjoys hiking, reading and traveling. He is married, has two children, two grandchildren and lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Leah Angstman lives in Boulder, Colorado, and is the author of three books of historical fiction and the editor of Alternating Current Press.

Graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School 1991 – practicing attorney working in private practice; previous experience includes: legal services, American Civil Liberties Union and lobbying the Wyoming State Legislature.

Quit school at 16, had first child at 17, received GED at 19, graduated from Metropolitan State College 1976.

Worked as: bartender, laborer, information operator, waitress, runner for phone call charity boiler room, Kelly Girl, housecleaner, and administrator of non-profit corporation prior to attending law school.

Liz Roadifer is an award-winning author of 20 novels. She currently has three series on the market: her psychological thriller The Oracle suspense series, one of which was a Kindle Book Awards Semi-Finalist; her romantic fantasy series Peace & Prosperity, which won the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award, and her Young Adult dystopian trilogy Wind Riders of RAHM. Her workshops at various writers conferences are always a favorite among the attendees.

Luna Nyx Frost is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and has been writing for the last twenty years. She is a blind author and writes poetry, urban fantasy, and paranormal. Her debut novel HUNTED: The Immortal’s Kiss is cowritten with E.L Summers available on Amazon. After publishing her debut poetry book, Shadows Abyss: A Book of Poetry, she had several other poems featured in anthologies such as Maryland’s Best Emerging Poets by Z Publishing and in Fae Thee Well by Dreampunk Press.
Her passion for writing and reading doesn’t stop at sonnets and novels. Her inspiration comes from nature, ancient history, classic literature, as well as the magnificent work of poets such as Edgar Allen Poe and Emily Dickinson. For years, I walked beside patients and families during some of life’s most difficult moments as a hospice nurse. I witnessed extraordinary courage, quiet acts of love, and the profound meaning that can be found even in suffering.

Then life invited me into the story in a new way—when I became a cancer patient.
That shift changed how I see everything: suffering, hope, the body, prayer, relationships, and what it truly means to live well. My writing is rooted in true experiences—both the sacred moments I’ve witnessed in hospice care and the personal lessons I’m still learning in my own healing journey.
The book, “”Even This Has Meaning: Memoirs of a Hospice Nurse Becoming the Patient”” was born from those experiences– a companion for anyone facing illness, caregiving, grief, or uncertainty.

Nicole James Kelley wrote and illustrated her first book as a second-grade student. Although the never-published masterpiece was lost to time, her love for writing lives on today. Nicole is an avid writer, reader, and fantasizer who writes universes that surpass anything that could exist in our known world. When she isn’t writing, Nicole enjoys her career working in education. She has worked as a paraprofessional, teacher, principal, and education consultant. Nicole James Kelley lives in Wyoming with her husband and dogs.

Olivia North is the author of the Fresh Ice series of hockey romance books, including the acclaimed SHARP EDGES. She lives at the foot of the Rockies with her husband and two German Shepherds.

Patricia B. Cirone has been writing for several years and has published a number of short stories. She specializes in writing science fiction and fantasy and is currently working on two novels and a short story anthology.

Author Paul Gibson is a teacher of 30 years who likes writing and telling some stories out loud. He says “most of them” are true. In quieter moments he enjoys an early cup of coffee with his wife, Melinda, in the back yard. He says it’s best when “the green things growing, moisture in the air smell,” feeds the heart!

Phoebe Hinkle is a young Christian author who writes primarily historical fiction. She began publishing at fifteen and continues to write steadily. She loves Jesus, her family and cats, and flea market shopping.

Tradition says to write “About the Author” bios in third person, but the beauty of self-publishing is that I can break whatever rules I want. Hi, I’m Becky. Don’t call me Rebecca, I use that for my author’s name purely because I like the alliteration.

I currently live in Cheyenne, Wyoming with my incredibly brilliant husband and my incredibly stupid cat. You can often find me hunched over my drawing tablet, scribbling out my original characters, or hunched in front of the TV, playing my favorite video games, or hunched over my phone, word vomiting all over my social media about my imaginary world, Auroris. Either way, poor posture is involved.

Rebekah M. Sweet started writing her first long story at the age of ten. She has been a director for her plays since 2017.

Her first book was published on February 26, 2019, and the second in December 2020. In 2025, she was able to publish three new books in two months.

She is currently working on a new fairy tale series as well as the final book to her first series and many others.

She currently resides in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
