The House Cup Challenge Returns
The House Cup is up for grabs once again!
Throughout October, readers of all ages can join Laramie County Library’s sixth annual House Cup Challenge and help their house compete for the title. Hufflepuff claimed the House Cup last year, but Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw have a whole month to change that.
Beginning October 1, choose your house, recruit your fellow housemates, and start reading. Every minute you log in Beanstack earns points for your house, which means everything from a few pages before bed to an afternoon spent with a good book can help move your house closer to the Cup.
How the Challenge Works
Joining is simple. Sign up for the House Cup Challenge in Beanstack beginning October 1, select your house, and log the minutes you read throughout the month.
The challenge is open to all ages, so kids, teens, and adults can all compete. You can read whatever you enjoy. The important part is logging those minutes and helping your house climb the standings.
Along the way, participants will also have chances to win fun Potter-themed prizes.
Who Will Take the House Cup?
The competition ends October 31. When the final minutes are counted, the house with the most points will be named this year’s House Cup champion.
And there are bragging rights involved.
The House Cup and the winning house banner will be displayed in the library for an entire year, where they’ll remain until the challenge returns in October 2027.
Hufflepuff currently holds the title. Will they keep it for another year, or is another house ready to take their place?
