Who Can Get a Library Card?

Anyone who lives in Laramie County is eligible for a free Laramie County Library System card.

To get a card, bring a photo ID and proof of your current Laramie County address. If your photo ID shows your current address, or you have a military ID, that’s all you need.

If your ID does not show your current address, you can provide a recent document such as a utility bill, lease agreement, pay stub, or similar proof of address.

Choose your card

Your library card can look as unique as the community it represents. Each year, Laramie County artists of all ages create new designs through our Library Card Art Contest.

Choose from this year’s winning designs when you sign up for a new card or replace your current one. New and replacement cards are free.

Lost or stolen cards

If your library card is lost or stolen, contact us so we can cancel it for you.

Replacement cards are free. A photo ID is required to replace a card. A parent or legal guardian must be present to replace a minor’s card.
