Library Card Art Design Contest – Ages 14 and Under

Laramie County Library System is holding an art contest to select new designs for library cards. Young artists will compete in one of three age groups: 6 years and under, 7-10 years, 11-14 years. One winner from each age group will be selected in July and cards will be released in time for Library Card Sign-Up Month in September. Let the world around you be your inspiration and show us your best library card design!

Entries accepted May 18—June 23, 2026.

Contest Guidelines

Residents of Laramie County aged 14 and under may participate in the contest. Only one submission per person accepted. Three winning designs will be selected, one from each of the following age groups: 6 years and under; 7-10 years; 11-14 years. Entries may be dropped off at any LCLS location or submitted online at lclsonline.org. Acceptable mediums for submissions are fine art (acrylics, drawings, oils, prints, or watercolors) digital media, and photography. Entries selected as finalists will be available for viewing and public voting online. Details of the voting process will be available at www.lclsonline.org.
