Thank You for Making the Library Card Art Contest a Success

What a response!

Over the past several weeks, artists of all ages shared their creativity through the second annual Laramie County Library System Library Card Art Contest, and our community answered with an incredible turnout of votes to help choose the winning designs.

This year’s contest invited participants to create artwork inspired by the creativity, interests, and perspectives that make our community unique. The result is a collection of imaginative, thoughtful, and original designs that reflect the many interests, experiences, and talents found throughout Laramie County.

To everyone who submitted artwork, encouraged a friend or family member to participate, or took the time to cast a vote, thank you. Your enthusiasm is what makes this contest so special and helps create library cards that truly represent our community.

The four winning artists will be announced in August as we prepare to kick off Library Card Sign-Up Month.

Beginning September 1, the winning designs will be available on official Laramie County Library System library cards. New and replacement library cards are available at no cost to Laramie County residents.

The celebration doesn’t end there. Every piece of artwork submitted to this year’s contest will be on display at the Cheyenne Library September 1 through September 30. We hope you’ll stop by to experience the incredible creativity and talent shared by artists from across our community.
