Young Artists Leave Their Mark on Summer Reading
If you’ve visited the library recently, you may have already spotted this year’s Summer Reading Challenge Bookmark Contest winning designs. Today, we’re excited to introduce the talented students behind them.
Every summer, young artists from across Laramie County help bring the Summer Reading Challenge to life through the annual Bookmark Contest. Inspired by this year’s theme, Unearth a Story™, students in third and fourth grade created original bookmark designs that celebrate reading, imagination, and discovery.
We are excited to recognize the winners whose artwork is being shared throughout the community as part of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge:
Wyoma Gosbee, Fourth Grade, Henderson Elementary School
Lark Norby, Fourth Grade, Jessup Elementary School
Peyton Rizzuto, Third Grade, Prairie Wind Elementary
Olivia Tagab, Third Grade, Destiny Christian Academy
Take a look at the winning designs below.

One of the best parts of the Bookmark Contest is seeing the incredible variety of artwork submitted by local students. The annual Unearth a Story Bookmark Contest Exhibit is now on display at the library, featuring entries from hundreds of Laramie County third and fourth grade students. Be sure to stop by and explore the creativity, imagination, and artistic talent on display. While you’re there, pick up a bookmark featuring one of this year’s winning designs.
We were inspired by the creativity, imagination, and artistic talent showcased in this year’s entries. Choosing winners was no easy task, and we want to thank every student who participated, as well as the teachers, families, and schools that helped make the contest possible.
Congratulations to Wyoma, Lark, Peyton, and Olivia on their winning designs, and thank you to all of the young artists who shared their creativity with us. Your artwork is helping make this year’s Summer Reading Challenge even more memorable.
