Help Choose the Next LCLS Library Card

The entries are in, the finalists have been selected, and now it’s your turn.

Community voting for our Library Card Art Contest is open July 1–15, and everyone is invited to help choose the artwork that will become the next official Laramie County Library System library cards.

This year’s contest encouraged artists to create designs inspired by the creativity, interests, and perspectives that make our community unique. From imaginative illustrations to stunning photography, the finalists showcase the many ideas, passions, and experiences that make Laramie County such a vibrant community.

Take a few minutes to browse the entries and cast your vote. You may vote for one design in each age category:

  • Ages 6 and under
  • Ages 7–10
  • Ages 11–14
  • Ages 15 and older

Voting closes on July 15.

The winning artists will be announced in mid-August leading up to the kickoff of Library Card Sign-Up Month, and the new library card designs will be available beginning September 1, 2026. New and replacement library cards are available at no cost to Laramie County residents.

All of this year’s finalist artwork will be on display at the Cheyenne Library throughout September, offering another opportunity to celebrate the creativity and talent of our community.
