September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and if you don’t have a library card, this is the perfect time to discover what you’ve been missing.

A library card still gets you books, of course. Thousands of them.
But it can also connect you to resources, information, tools, and collections that help you do something you want or need to do.
Want to learn? Use your card to learn a language, connect with a live online tutor, build career skills, prepare for a test, research your family history, read magazines, listen to audiobooks, or find reliable information on just about any subject.

September Is a Great Time to Get Yours
We’re celebrating Library Card Sign-up Month with a few extras.
Sign up for a new Laramie County Library System library card during September and you’ll receive a free 16 oz. LCLS glass tumbler with a bamboo lid and reusable glass straw, while supplies last.

Getting a Card Is Easy
Laramie County residents can get a library card for free.
You can start your application online or visit us in Cheyenne, Burns, Pine Bluffs, or the Mobile Library. Bring a photo ID and proof of your current Laramie County address. If your photo ID already has your current address, or you have a military ID, that’s all you need.
And then?
That’s up to you.
Learn something you’ve always wanted to know. Try something you’ve never done. Find an answer. Solve a problem. Get lost in a story. Pick up a new interest. Make your next idea possible.
