Genealogy: The Use of Archival Documents in Military Research

October 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Thursday, October 24
7–8:30pm

Come hear Dr. Myra Miller, an archival researcher with Footsteps Researchers, talk about how to use archival documents in genealogical research. Dr. Miller has spent the past ten years researching at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) facilities with a niche in WW2 histories. Sadly, many records were lost in a 1973 fire at NARA, and Dr. Miller will share how other documents and sources can be used to reconstruct veterans’ histories and follow their military footsteps.
(Adults; Cottonwood Room)
