There is no better way to make an impact on your community and influence your elected representatives than with a one-on-one conversation. Laramie County Library System is giving you the opportunity to engage directly with many of your representatives, including Governor Gordon and Mayor Orr. Attendees will have the chance to pose one question to an elected official and spend 4 minutes listening to and engaging with the representative’s answer, then move on to the next in true “speed dating” style. Come take advantage of a unique opportunity to speak personally with your lawmakers and elected officials. Due to time constraints, each official will only be able to talk to about 18 people. More information can be found here: https://lclsonline.org/speed-repping-information/
Confirmed Officials:
Governor Mark Gordon
Mayor Marian Orr
State Treasurer Curt Meier
Secretary of State Edward Buchanan
Superintendent Jillian Balow
Representative Sue Wilson
Trustee Christ Klaassen, LCSD 1
Trustee Brenda Lyttle, LCCC
This event is presented as part of Laramie County Library System, League of Women Voters Cheyenne, Wyoming Tribune Eagle, and Laramie County Community College’s celebration of Women’s Suffrage.
