Seniors and Veterans Connect (Burns Branch)

Seniors and veterans are invited to enjoy refreshments and free activities. On January 13, come beat the winter blues during an ice cream social. On January 27 enjoy a showing of The Peanut Butter Falcon (rated PG-13), an adventure story set in the world of modern Mark Twain that begins when Zak, a young man with Down syndrome runs away from a nursing home to chase his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. Through circumstances beyond their control, Tyler, a small time outlaw on the run, becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally.
