Study Rooms

Laramie County Library has six study rooms available for general use, along with two study rooms reserved for teens. Located on the second and third floors of the building, the rooms are perfect locations for studying, virtual meetings, interviews, and more.

Guidelines
  • Study rooms are first-come, first-served and are intended for groups of four or less. They may not be reserved in advance. If you would like to reserve a meeting room instead, please visit our meeting room page for more information.
  • There is a two-hour time limit; however, If no one is waiting for a study room, individuals may continue to use the room.
  • To use a study room, visit the Ask Here desk on the second or third floor and staff will assist you.
  • There are three study rooms on the third floor and five study rooms on the second floor, including two rooms in the Teen Zone that are designated for teens only. Adults may only use these rooms if they are accompanied by a teenager.
  • Six study rooms have electrical outlets, an Ethernet port, a table, four chairs, and a whiteboard. Dry-erase markers and erasers may be borrowed at the Ask Here desk. The teen study rooms have a table and four chairs.
  • Study rooms are not soundproof. Users are expected to maintain a reasonable noise level and follow the library’s code of conduct.
