Laramie County Library System is looking for intrepid adventurers ready to sail the seas, soar the skies, explore the stars, and everything in between! This summer, adventure begins at your library!
What
LCLS challenges you to go adventuring for 25 days.
Twenty to thirty minutes of reading, being read to, or listening to an audiobook
counts as one day’s reading adventure.
How
Sign up for the challenge on Beanstack. If you need help getting signed up on Beanstack, call or visit your local LCLS library for assistance. If you would prefer to log your hours by hand, you can pick up a paper reading log at any LCLS library or the Bookmobile. Just bring your paper log to the library and a volunteer or staff member will register your reading days on Beanstack.
When
The adventure begins on June 1 and ends on August 15.
Who
The library is looking for adventurers of all ages, from pre-readers to expert seniors.
There are no age restrictions!

Your reading adventures can happen anywhere!
Visit any LCLS library for help signing up on Beanstack, registering for the challenge, and logging your reading days and to collect your prizes.
Rewards
Participate in the Summer Reading Challenge and you’ll earn fabulous prizes! For every five days of your reading adventures, you will earn a prize and a unique Beanstack badge. Prizes will be available to pick up starting June 15. If you complete the entire challenge by reading for 25 days between June 1 and August 15, you’ll get a special completion prize! Children and teens can choose a book from a collection specially curated by Youth Services librarians. Adults will receive a limited edition Laramie County Library System insulated tumbler to take on all their summer adventures.
Want to keep the adventure going?
Don’t stop reading just because you’ve already got your completion prize! Become a Super Reader by reading all summer long. You can continue to log reading days on Beanstack or pick up a new reading log to keep track of your additional reading days. You can even claim additional prizes and receive unique Beanstack badges once you’ve read for 50 and 75 days!
