Tuesday, October 15
5:30 – 7pm
Join us for a potluck style dinner and lively discussion of this month’s book The War Librarian by Addison Armstrong. Set in 1918, the timid and shy Emmaline Balakin lives more in books than her own life. That is, until an envelope crosses her desk at the Dead Letter Office bearing a name from her past, and Emmaline decides to finally embark on an adventure of her own—as a volunteer librarian on the front lines in France. Please swing by the Burns Library to pick up your copy. We encourage you to bring a dish to share. Space is limited so please reserve your spot by stopping in at the Burns Branch Library or by calling us at 307-547-2249.
