Brown Bag Book Club is going virtual! We will meet twice during the month of October. We will review the first half of the book on the 8th and the second half of the book on the 22nd. Participants can pick up their book to check out on the 2nd floor of the library or via the library’s curbside pick-up service, along with a “brown bag” full of desserts, drinks, and an interactive activity! This month, we will be reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. RSVP for this event above to receive the Zoom link via email!
Make sure you RSVP separately for the second session on October 22nd.
Quick book description: Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn’t live in a sprawling graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead. There are dangers and adventures in the graveyard for a boy. But if Bod leaves the graveyard, then he will come under attack from the man Jack—who has already killed Bod’s family…
